![]() ![]() Motor still works, had to replace belts twice, pads every 6 months or so. I have had one for 5 years now, use it around 30 times a day on average (pool hall). I put a single drop of Aramith Ball Cleaner on every other ball (4 drops total) for 20 minutes, they come out looking brand new. I clean them in my Diamond single platter polisher when they start to look like they have been played with. It is very heavy duty - and yet friendly to fix in the event of a problem. I have 3 sets of balls I rotate thru, Centennials, Aramith Tournaments, and Cyclops skittles. But it is also the better of the two polishers. ![]() Sprockets are available in 3 sizes to accommodate any ball size you require. The motor can get hot if ran to long (I am talking about over an hour constant non-stop) so keep an eye on it if you run it that hard.īelts if loose will smoke and cause a VERY nasty rubber smell in your house.Īlso when replacing pads BE CAREFUL! The plywood they use for the side walls is VERY thin and breaks easily if there is glue attached, so use a heat gun to remove the pads as it would be extremely difficult to replace the side walls.īesides that, congrats, you will never go back it completely changes the game. Diamond Bal Polisher As a disclaimer, I am a partner in Diamond so I am biased We use the Diamond double platter - for hours and hours on end at all of our events. The Diamond Ball Polisher is the only polisher in the world that actually spirals the balls as they spin The dual spinning platters are lined with carpet and free-floating sprockets that keep the balls from banging together as they rotate. The pads wear out faster than the star, order the pads before you need them, as Diamond is notorious with wait times. The size of the belts are printed on them. The belts are a fortune (if diamond will sell them to you) You can buy them at any autoparts store for cheap. ![]()
